Grow + Play Toddler + Preschooler group is a child-led session designed to support development through open-ended play and educational activities in a carefully prepared environment. Each session focuses on five key learning areas: - Sensorial (exploration through the senses) - Language - Movement (gross and fine motor skills) -Practical life skills (promoting independence) - Culture and creativity (understanding the world around us and expressing ourselves) Grow + Play toddler group is a calm, welcoming and relaxed environment, where your child can freely explore the activities available - and you can enjoy unlimited free tea and coffee and chat with other parents. The group is held in a spacious setting with limited places at each session, helping to create a calm and peaceful environment for all. Our toddler group has a relaxed start (so please don't worry if you need to arrive after the start time), children are free to explore the activities available at their own pace, we then have a snack and circle time where we share a story, song or game. The session ends gently with a goodbye song. Our toddler group is inspired by Montessori philosophy which has respect for children and their developmental process at its heart. We believe that young children have a unique ability to learn and understand the world by actively engaging with their surroundings - we aim to create the right environment to support that process. During each session, we observe what the children enjoy and how they interact with the activities, and we use that information to plan the next session, ensuring we are always following the child.
