3-6 months+ Scarf Pull
Explore cause and effect as well as supporting developing hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and hand/arm strength with this easy DIY activity.

This scarf pull activity can be used to encourage tummy time, by taping it flat to the floor, or to enourage sitting or standing by taping it to the wall.
Supports fine motor skills in grabbing and holding the scarf, and gross motor movement in moving toward the scarves, sitting, standing and pulling.
To make:
Take two large plastic bottles and cut off the bottoms.
Seal the edges with Frog tape to ensure there are no sharp parts.
Remove the lid and any loose parts which could be a choking hazard.
Attach the bottles to a large piece of cardboard (I ued Gorilla repair tape as it is very strong).
Tie silk scarves together at the ends (3 or 4 per bottle) and place into the bottles, pulling a small amount through the neck so there is something for your child to grab.
Tape to the floor or wall with Frog tape.
