On the farm - Language activity (printable 3 part cards)

This language activity can be used in three different ways to provide the right amount of challenge for your child.

Three-period lesson

Using just the cards with the picture and name, we can use the three-period lesson approach to introduce new language.

Matching

When your child is confident with the names of the animals/objects, the picture cards can be introduced alongside the first cards as a matching activity.

Pre-reading activity (preschoolers+)

For older children, the three sets of cards can be used together so the child can match the separate picture and name cards to the whole cards.
