6-9 months+ Coin Box

This baby-safe posting box is a great way to support fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, as well as understanding of object permanence and concentration.

Take any box with a lid and cut a slot out of the top large enough to comfortably fit the item to be posted. Tape around the edges of the slot with masking tape to ensure there are no rough parts.

I used blank wooden coasters from Hobbycraft for my posting box, but you could use any coasters or circles cut from a cardboard box (needs to be thick enough so that your child can easily pick it up).
