3-6 months+ Fidget Tube
This easy fidget tube supports fine motor skill development, hand-eye coordination and understanding of cause and effect.
Support your child's fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and understanding of cause and effect with this very simple fidget tube!
I used a craft cardboard tube (they are stronger than kitchen roll tubes - but they could also be used) and poked holes on opposite sides using a screwdriver.
I then threaded through shoelaces from one side of the tube to another, before cutting off the ends of the laces and securing with a double knot.
I made sure the laces were varying lengths so that pulling each one through takes a different amount of time, this supports children's understanding of cause and effect.
