Very easy to DIY, this magical mobile is bound to mesmerise your baby. Supporting visual tracking, understanding of cause and effect and promoting concentration.
This beautiful mobile is so easy to make and supports visual development in babies, including tracking, depth perception, chromatic sense and understanding cause and effect as the lightweight ribbons move easily as babies wave their arms and legs underneath.
The mobile also encourages reaching and grabbing.
***Please note: Strangulation hazard. This should only be used under adult supervision and never hung above a baby's sleeping area.
To make, simply take the inner, solid ring from an embroidery hoop and tie ribbons around (grouped by colour), securing tightly with a triple knot.
Cut the ribbons so they are roughly the same length and seal the ends by quickly running a lighter over them to stop them fraying.
Attach string to the hoop and hang.
